How do we create solutions to complex challenges, when nobody can tell anyone else what to do?


Most resources invested in innovation fail to deliver expected outcomes. Today’s ambitious plans of achieving net-zero by 2050 fall 60% short of achieving that goal. Traditional approaches to strategy, result in a significant gap between what is needed to solve business and societal challenges and the impact that is actually being achieved. A "collaborative culture" emerges from new patterns behaving and working together. Strategic Doing encourages "learning by doing" networks, to develop new skills and behaviors. Jane and Joost will explain how Strategic Doing guides collaboration and recombinant innovation to develop and test solutions to complex challenges by leveraging the assets of our networks.

Jane Rogan - A Strategic Doing Institute Fellow and co-COO for learning and the global practitioners network, Jane is a firm believer in the power of collaborative networks. She facilitates community engagement by building trusting partnerships focused on innovative growth opportunities for community-identified sustainable futures. A native of the northwest of England, Jane is a Hoosier by choice and has called Bloomington, IN home for 30+ years.
