CONVERSATION ABOUT
ESCAPING THE RAT RACE

Kritical Conversations
by Kriticos Mwansa

 Conversations  / Sat 16th Sept / 5-7 pm

The Kritical Conversations Series, with host of The Book Club Kriticos and other guests, deep dives into themes of great significance - from love and faith to creativity and all in between. We take one (ore more) classic book at a time as point of departure. You can expect honest and passionate discussions, enriching ideas, and good company.

In this session, we delve into the thought-provoking theme of "Exiting the Rat Race." We question the systems that bind us to capitalism and explore ways to break free. Join us as we exchange ideas, ignite discussions, and discover ways to navigate towards a more fulfilling life beyond the confines of the rat race.

The conversation will be based on the following books:

The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg
A study on habits, how they control our lives with a focus on how companies exploit us through creating habits.

Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin and Joe Dominguez
Offers a transformative approach to redefining our relationship with money and time.

The Untethered Soul by Michael A Singer
Challenges conventional thought, by deconstructing our idea of ourselves and our attachment to our emotions and thoughts.

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari
Explores the evolution of human societies and the impact of economic systems.

You don't have to read or finish the books to participate and share your insights. Just come open-minded for new perspectives and thirsty for a good conversation!
