(for 13-19yrs old)

(This event is FREE, but you need to register.)

Clare is an activist and the co-founder of a global citizen protest movement, Extinction Rebellion.

She tells the story of how concerns about the current state, and the future of our planet led to the creation of the XR movement.

Clare will shed light on climate activism, the successes and failures, and why doing nothing is not an option.

Clare Farrell is a full time activist and campaigner devoting her creativity, her energy, and occasionally her personal liberty, to fight against climate collapse. As one of the founders of Extinction Rebellion she is at the strategic heart of a mass movement of people using non-violent direct action in the firm belief that these are a proven way to create rapid social change. Clare has a background in the UK fashion industry, working across the high street, luxury and ethical sectors as well as teaching.
