LABOURS OF LOVE

A salon with Madeleine Bunting

 Ideas  / Thurs 16 March / 6:30 - 8:30 PM

Care work is at the heart of society. Without it, we couldn't survive as a species. Prize-winning author Madeleine Bunting takes a deep dive into the important but invisible world of care, showing how swathes of the care economy remain hidden and undervalued. She was already an authoritative and deeply reflective voice on the crisis of care well ahead of the pandemic. Offering insight and humanity, she asks important questions about the deficit of care in our society.
