How to change the way we see time

A talk with Richard Fisher

Catalyst  Ideas Festival  / Sat 2nd Dec / 3-4pm

How do you think about the future? Is it too far away for you to consider? Are you able to make decisions based on their long-term repercussions?

Journalist and science writer Richard Fisher argues that the modern world has taken away our abilities to think long-term. We're trapped in the present, in a world of instant gratification and social media feeds that update every second - effectively distorting our understanding of time.

Richard argues we need to be able to take the long view again, and understand how our decisions will impact the world and the future generations. Join the conversations as he explains how.
