ABOUT

The pianist Joachim Caffonnette recently dedicated time to composing, crafting new pieces, and exploring jazz standards. He particularly enjoys rearranging solo piano versions of Beatles songs. Tonight, he will showcase a selection of this recent work.

For the past 15 years, Joachim Caffonnette has graced concert halls and jazz clubs across Europe. After classical music training, he studied jazz and composition at the Brussels Conservatory while already pursuing a performing career from the age of 18. Remarkably active, he has released three critically acclaimed albums. His latest, "Bittersweet Times," released on the Hypnote label in 2021, coincided with his focus on artistic direction at the Sounds Jazz Club for the past three years.
