Beatrice Picard on marimba/vibraphone & Arthur Possing on piano

What is written, and what’s not? This brand new group emerged from the encounter of two luxembourgish musicians, coming from musical horizons often stated as opposites: Béatrice Picard, classical percussionist studying in Amsterdam and Arthur Possing, jazz pianist and vibraphonist. The duo first met in 2021, throughout the creation of an eclectic and international ensemble in Germany. Very quickly, they both discovered their common sense of timing and rhythmic perception, regardless of genre, which motivated them to elaborate an unique univers. The passion for writing and arrangement represents a bearing element of the group as well, trying to go beyond borders between written and improvised music. On the menu: originals, minimalistic pieces and renditions of pop/rock music.
