EXPLORING FATHERHOOD

Kritical Conversations Series
by Kriticos Mwansa

Thurs 22nd June / Culture / 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking conversation as we delve into the multifaceted realm of fatherhood in celebration of Father's Day.

Our focus will be on exploring different aspects of fatherhood, including personal experiences, societal expectations, challenges, joys, and evolving roles.

By sharing diverse perspectives and engaging in respectful dialogue, we hope to gain valuable insights and deepen our appreciation for the role of fathers in our lives. The discussion will be based on different books:

- "The Will to Change” by Bell Hooks
-  "All About Love" by Bell Hooks
- "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee
- "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini
- "Between the World and Me" by Ta-Nehisi Coates

These books cover a range of themes related to fatherhood, including personal narratives, coming-of-age stories, father-child relationships, and societal expectations.

You do not need to read the book in order to participate!
