THINKING THE UNTHINKABLE

Evening Salon / Tues 27 Nov / 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

A co-production between The Idealist Quarterly, Full Circle Ideas and OSEPI.

In an era of 'wicked problems', our leaders have failed to address the biggest issues of our time. Nik Gowing and Chris Langdon have set out to find out why. Why is current leadership apparently not fit for purpose? What are the causes of so many failures in policy and strategic forecasting? Thinking The Unthinkable, is their timely, dynamic investigation into why leaders appear more unable or unwilling than ever to anticipate and act upon today's big challenges. They offer a unique glimpse onto the new frailties and dilemmas of how to adapt both skills and organisations smartly to cope with unprecedented social, political and economic upheaval.
