TeenTalk / Thurs 14 March / 5.00 - 6.30 pm
What can the Ancient Greeks teach us about how we feel today? Quite a lot, argues British philosopher Jules Evans.
Come and find out how modern approaches to mental health have been influenced by the wisdom of ancient philosophers.
Drawing on a range of philosophical influences and personal experiences, Jules will examine how Greek thinkers from millennia ago can help us overcome adversity in our everyday lives. Rejecting the idea of philosophy as an abstract discipline, he will guide us through the very real impact that the critical thought of the classics can have on our wellbeing and lifestyle.
Jules Evans will also give a talk to adults, see our Evening Salon with Jules Evans.
