BEING YOU

A salon with Anil Seth

 Ideas  / 16 Feb / 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

Being you is not as simple as it sounds. Somehow, within each of our brains, billions of neurons work to create our conscious experience. How does this happen? Why do we experience life in the first person? Pioneering neuroscientist Anil Seth will challenge your understanding of perception and reality, and turn what you thought you knew about yourself on its head. Understanding the biological basis of conscious experience is one of the great challenges for 21st Century Science. Anil makes this exciting scientific frontier accessible and compelling.
