Tarek Osman Millennium Talk

What have Religion and Politics done for me?

5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Politics and religion: these two subjects are the centre of some people’s everyday lives, while for others they can seem irrelevant and unhelpful. Tarek Osman has spent years studying and writing about their relationship, and he’ll be joining us to talk about the many surprising ways they shape our lives without us knowing. His research has focussed on the Middle East, and Islam in particular, but his intriguing conclusions can teach us something on a global level. Don’t miss this opportunity to chat to a fascinating thinker about any burning questions you might have!
